Ingredients:

  • 14oz/400g jar of Chickpeas, depleted (holding 1/4 cup/60ml saline solution) 
  • 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
  • 2 tbsp Tahini 
  • 1 Lemon, squeeze as it were 
  • 1 little clove of Garlic 
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin 
  • 1/2 tsp Salt, or to taste 
  • Dark Pepper, to taste 
  • Trimming: 
  • Paprika 
  • Parsley 
  • Chickpeas 
  • Additional Virgin Olive Oil 
  • To serve: 
  • Pita Chips 
  • Tortilla Chips 
  • Peppers, Carrots or Veg of decision!

Instructions:

  1. Include your chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, additional virgin olive oil, garlic, cumin and salt and pepper to a nourishment processor and turn on the engine. 
  2. As the hummus mixes, gradually pour your 1/4cup/60ml chickpea saline solution through the pipe until you arrive at your favored surface (I as a rule use everything). 
  3. Stop engine and test for flavoring. 
  4. Fill a serving bowl and twirl the top with a spoon. Sprinkle over a sprinkle of additional virgin olive oil and a modest spot of parsley/paprika (discretionary). Serve at room temp!
